Wash & Care
Step 1 – Gather Your Supplies
● Mild soap or leather cleaner
● Soft cloth or sponge
● Leather conditioner
● Water
● A clean towel
Step 2 – Remove Dirt and Dust
● Before washing, gently shake the gloves to remove any loose dirt or dust.
● Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior of the gloves.
Step 3 – Prepare Cleaning Solution
● Mix a few drops of mild soap or leather cleaner with lukewarm water. Avoid using harsh detergents or solvents, as they can damage the leather.
Step 4 – Clean the Gloves
● Dampen a soft cloth or sponge in the soapy solution (do not soak it).
● Gently wipe the gloves, focusing on areas with stains or grime. Avoid soaking the leather; just use enough moisture to clean the surface.
Step 5 – Rinse
● Dampen another clean cloth with plain water and wipe the gloves to remove any soap residue. Again, avoid soaking the leather.
Step 6 -Dry Properly
● Pat the gloves dry with a clean towel to remove excess moisture.
● Allow the gloves to air dry at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, as these can cause the leather to crack.
Step 7- Condition the Leather:
● Once dry, apply a leather conditioner using a soft cloth. This will help restore moisture and maintain the leather’s suppleness.
● Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the conditioner, and apply it evenly over the gloves.
Store the gloves in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using a glove tree or stuffing them lightly with tissue paper to help maintain their shape.
