Protection
- Knee: CE Level 2
- Hip: CE Level 2
- Tailbone: pocket ready for an optional tailbone protector
- Knee armour pockets with 2 positions, so you can set the armour to sit on the knee for your leg length
Materials
The shell is 600D PU-coated polyester with a 3D polyester Air Mesh lining. YKK® zips are used throughout, and a reflective logo adds some visibility at night.
Fit on the Bike
Pre-curved shaping follows a seated riding position, so the pant does not pull tight across the knees when your feet are on the pegs. It is a regular fit. Zipped, expandable calf gussets open wide enough to fit the widest range of boot styles and sizes, so the pant can go over riding boots rather than being tucked in.
Storage and Connection
- 2 zipped pockets
- Jacket-to-pant connection zip to stop the jacket riding up in a fall
- YKK® zips throughout
Who It Suits
The Tourer pant suits daily commuting and road touring. Its 3D Air Mesh lining helps in warm weather, but Raida lists no external vents, so in peak summer a pant with mesh panels will run cooler. In winter, add a thermal base layer underneath.
What’s in the Box

FAQs – Raida Tourer Riding Pant
1. What armour is included?
CE Level 2 armour at the knees and hips. There is a pocket for a tailbone protector, which is not included.
2. Why do the knee pockets have 2 positions?
Leg lengths differ. Moving the armour up or down makes sure it sits over the knee when you are seated on the bike.
3. Will it go over my riding boots?
Yes. The zipped calf gussets expand to fit most boot styles and sizes.
4. Does it have a thermal or rain liner?
No. Raida lists only the pant in the box. Use a rain overpant in heavy rain and a thermal base layer in winter.
5. Can I connect it to a jacket?
Yes. It has a jacket-to-pant connection zip that works with the Raida Tourer riding jacket and other compatible Raida jackets.
